Recently Rick has given concerts at the Unversity of Donetsk, Ukraine and the Kiev Opera House, Ukraine sponsored by the AMS Corp. Additionally he has performed at a concert at the United Nations, NY and a question & answer session with the U.N. Society Jazz Band.
In November 1998 Rick was featured in an HBO movie with Susan Sarandon entitled "Earthly Possessions". Rick is featured in the movie playing "Begin the Beguine", "Have You got Any Dreams For Sale" and "I'll Be Seeing You". When Director James Lapine was looking for a jazz group to play four songs in the night club scene, he decided on clarinettist Rick Bogart.
